As discussed in the following thread, it is not possible for admins to configure whether the "put profile on hold" is visible to users or not.  I propose that this is made so that admins can control whether it is displayed or not.

http://www.skalfa.com/boards/faq/how-to-stop-users-having-access-to-put-profile-on-hold-t582.0.html

This option is, in my view, very bad for users to be allowed to have.  A profile which is "on hold" becomes invisible to other users, but the user can still do everything.  This is a useful option to have available (e.g. for profiles which are new and have not yet been granted membership in order to hide them from other users), but is not one I want to give to my users the ability to use themselves (no more than I would give users the ability to select membership type themselves).

Any other admins agree this should be able to be set visible or not by admins?

When a user puts their profile "on hold" it becomes invisible to other users.  This is certainly something which I think admins should be able to control whether users can do or not.

Skalfa, can you make this configurable for everyone?

Let's wait for other admins' opinions.

OK, no other opinions voiced by admins, though that doesn't mean that this would not be useful to them.

I return to my original point: an admin should be able to control somehow whether users can make their profiles invisible to other users.

Can you provide this as a feature?  I don't believe that even though it is only me asking for this, it would be of benefit for many sites.

Agree with this suggestion

and since i am here i have a suggestion..... In board "Confirmed changes for Skadate 7" you made a suggestion for "Photo Authentiation" with random numbers authomatically generated by skadate software. The question is:

>> Why not used the current profile id three digit numbers generated for each profile to Authentiate Photos? Each profile as a unique three(3) digit number when they sign up...see in Admin Area.

>> So the only thing Skadate can do now is to have a Unedited Space on View Profile page where Admin would write "This Photo is Authentiated by Admin" so other members can see it

>> you can just ask members to contact you for their three(3) digit number and take a photo with it... this profile id number is better since you can go back and track member

What do you think?

Thanks for your confirmation of the suggestion.

So, Skalfa, will you do this?

(I will leave your other points Easton for the relevant threads)

Hello brusselsshrek.
I am glad to read your posts. Thank you for your suggestions.
I think it would be useful if you and others submit a screen shot or a mockup for the admin interface of this feature. Thank you in advance.

Sure it will be developed in SkaDate 7.
Thank you for your suggestion.
