If member A, B, C, and so on visited Member D profile page then Member D should see the members that visit his/her profile page....this is a must have feature and it's very basic

Easton, I guess you are talking about a "who's viewed me" feature?  Showing each member that has visited Member A's profile in the order that they were last there.

I think users should be allowed to see whos viewed their profile
I think that would make a good feature

I agree with this feature, on other sites that i belonged to in the past i definitely liked this feature, and then once you see that person viewed you, then you can easily send them a flirt, or a message, and if online you can IM them.    I think this would be a great upgrade, but also i think that the user should have the choice to turn this feature on or off.

What do you mean by "Turn on-off View Profile Page"? Do you mean that a member can specify who can view their profile? For example, friends only can view something similar to Hi5

I too would definitely vote for a "who viewed your profile" feature.  Part of the key thing to build a community is to get people talking to each other which is a pretty scary thing for them to do without any clues as to who might like them.  The "who viewed your profile" works well because someone who has viewed your profile is probably interested in you (e.g. you have appeared in a search which uses criteria that they have chosen).

The following is a quote from a couple on Plenty of Fish who got engaged November 2007 as a result of exactly the "who's viewed you" feature:

<quote>
Jen: I saw Brandon's profile on my "who's viewed you" list, but was a little too nervous to write to him. I added him to my favorites list, hoping to get the courage to write to him. The next day I had an email from POF, and it was from Brandon. We wrote several emails back and forth, talked on the phone twice and agreed to meet for dinner. I will never forget the moment I saw him in person; he was so amazing, it took my breath away. He took off his sunglasses, smiled at me, and shook my hand....and my heart melted. Brandon: I was looking at my "matches" list, when I saw her photo for the first time. I immediately went to her profile. I read it at least 4 times. I couldn't stop looking at the pictures and going back and reading it. I think I was trying to get up the courage to write to her. The next day at work, I received an email from POF, saying she had put me on her favorites list. I couldn't believe it! I emailed her that night. We emailed several times, talked on the phone, and met for dinner in Boulder. The first time I saw her, I had the goose bumps for an hour. She was so beautiful. It all still feels like a dream. Jen: We hit it off immediately at dinner, laughing and talking for hours. Brandon walked me to my car, where we continued sharing stories for another hour or so. It was late, and we both had to leave, but neither of us wanted to. He leaned over, took my face in his hands and kissed me....a kiss I will never forget! Seven hours after our date began, we had to go, but agreed to meet again the next night. The second, third and fourth dates were just as incredible as the first....he is the most wonderful, sweet and caring man I have ever met. Brandon: I was never nervous, and was immediately drawn to this gorgeous woman. We had a wonderful dinner. We walked around Boulder and talked. She has this exceptional way of telling a story. I could listen for an eternity. The hours passed and we both had to work the next day. We walked to her car and were ready to say "Goodnight". I had to kiss her! She was the most beautiful woman I had ever met in my life! I cuddled her face in my hands, I heard her softly say "Hi", and we kissed. This all still seems like a dream. I have met the love of my life. She is the most beautiful, loving, most compassionate woman I have ever met. I am the luckiest man alive! Jen: Brandon asked me to marry him on November 5, two months after we met. I could not be happier, to be a part of this man's life is a dream come true. Thanks so much to Plenty of Fish for bringing us and many other happy couples together!

hey Easton, what i meant was Member A is browsing the site, member A does not want Member B to see that he/she was looking at member B's profile.    So Member A sets in his preferences for other members not to see that he/she was looking at peoples profiles.    <----  did this make more sense?

I'd like to have the option for members to have an area that shows them which members have viewed their profile.  I find it to be an ice breaker for members to know who's looked at their profile.  ONLY the member would be able to see who's viewed their own profile... nobody else.  (I did a search on this and didn't find anything but I've emailed Emil about this functionality in the past and thought I'd put it up here to see what others think in hopes that it will be included in a future release.)

I agreed, this feature was suggested several times already and no definite response yet. The good thing is that this feature is simple to implement and it's long overdue.

Absolutely - a standard feature in most places ... an odd one to have missed out - would love to see this function in the next release for ALL templates ... Thank you Paul  Cool
