Some simple image manipulation for users rotate crop etc - also the ability to set a minimum image size to stop thumbnails being loaded that are simply copied from other sites.

If the system resizes the images to fit perfectly with out templates, why sometimes do really huge photo files show up for approval?    I dont get that.

But as well as image manipulation i think pictures should be viewed as larger photo's.    In the top photo's section when you put your mouse over a photo, the image gets a little larger.   Why cant the same affect happen in a users profile?

Agreed this would overcome the restrictions on dimensions determined by the design of the template ...  Cool

I agree!  Even a "image rotation" just for admins would be very helpful.  I fairly often get a user who uploads a photo on it's side and it's a real pain if I want to fix it.

Don't know if a image "rotation" is easy to do, but it's a very useful thing.  As for all the other image stuff, I can see it might be cool but could be a whole new complex module unless using an "off the shelf" open source plug-in.  Image rotation I guess is a lot easier.

How about it SkaDate?

Nice suggestion. I think the good idea to integrate such third party software (may be written on flash).
Add to Skadate7?

At the moment, as far as I know, nothing in the site uses Flash (unless you choose to install the optional Flash messenger?).

I would like to have the option to keep a 100% non-Flash site.

And anyway, the ONLY thing I want is the simple ablity to rotate a photo, and it was that which seemed to make other admins very enthusiastic.

Let's just keep it simple: give us (admins, and users if you like) the ability to rotate a photo.  That's it.

Not sure this is as simply as you say. Image rotation can take a lot of time to develop. Let's add this to Skadate7 with low priority.
