Hi i am having this problem when upgrading in your update manual it says

8. Go to 'skadate_diff/' folder via SSH;
7. Type the following command in command prompt: php index.php client
[relative_path_to_working_skadate_site_root_folder];

So i went to the "skadate_diff/" folder via SHH
And i entered this

[john@gator999 ~/public_html/findadate/skadate_diff]$ php index.php client

But i am getting this error tons of these errors is this normal???

stream resource in /home/john/public_html/findadate/skadate_diff/index.php on line 88
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/john/public_html/findadate/skadate_diff/index.php on line 94
Warning: fopen(reports/client_report.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/john/public_html/findadate/skadate_diff/index.php on line 8
Done

1) Did you place old and new revision in specified folders?
2) Did you point [relative_path_to_working_skadate_site_root_folder] when you run index.php via SSH?

Maybe i am doing something wrong but the instructions for upgrading are kinda fuzzy. I will start from step one. I wont go further untill you tell me if im wrong or right

Step 1. Make a backup of your site DONE

Step 2. It tells me download skadate_diff.rar from the Customer Area.
Which one?? I see lots of skadate_diff.rar in different skadate builds
And i have no idea which one i need to download.

Step 1. DONE
Step 2. DONE

Step 3.  Upload the folder skadate_diff to your hosting, where you have SkaDate installed;
Note: put skadate_diff in different folder from where you have SkaDate installed.

Ok for step three i don't understand where i am supposed to put the skadate_diff. It tells me to put it in a different folder. does this mean in complety different place.
I have drawn the way my hosting is setup, if you could tell me where to put it thanks

That is the pic if you could tell me where i have to put the skadate_diff

Im assuming not in the same folder as skadate but would it matter if i put it in the site 1 2 or 3 folder?

thanks!

Step 1. DONE
Step 2. DONE
Step 3. DONE

Step 4. Upload the unmodified revision (unpacked) of SkaDate that corresponds to your current site to
'skadate_diff/old' folder. (You can find your revision number in 'skadate_folder/inc/inc.header.php', find
const var 'PACKAGE_VERSION');

Step 5. Upload the new revision (unpacked) to 'skadate_diff/new' folder;

Ok for steps 4 and 5 im a bit confused. What does unmodified revision and new revision mean?
Does this mean
my old version 582 to old folder
new version 863 to new
Except i dont install anything or modify anything? just upload the contents??

You need to put old unmodified revision code to "old" folder. It means that you need to download this old revision from CA and put it to "old" folder.

The same is for "new" folder.

Step 1. DONE
Step 2. DONE
Step 3. DONE
Step 4. DONE
Step 5. DONE
Step 6. Login to your hosting via SSH; DONE
Step 7. Set chmod 777 for 'skadate_diff/reports/' folder; DONE
Step 9. Go to 'skadate_diff/' folder via SSH; DONE
Step 10. Type the following command in command prompt: php index.php client
[relative_path_to_working_skadate_site_root_folder];

Ok for step 10 i tried putting in the php index.php client[relative_path_to_working_skadate_site_root_folder]; but i kept getting errors

"Invalid mode, please specify the first argument as "client" or "server"

So instead i just put in

php index.php client

and i got a list going down with about 50 of different stuff like this
cp: cannot create regular file `client/images/config_photo_watermark_img_34.png': No such file or directory

at the end of those it says DONE

So i went into the reports folder and there is a "client_report.txt"

So does this mean it worked??? I have attached a copy of my client report so u can have a look at it and tell me if it worked

I opened it with microsoft word because i can read it if i open it with notepad i cant read it right
thanks
