The logic need to be changed with Friend Request. Currently it's more of a favorites more than anything. The logic should be more so like MySpace, Facebook, etc. Member A send a request to Member B. Member B then should have the option to accept or decline the request.

Anthony is right again. I have like 50 friends from random members and none of them even know that i want to be their friend. people need to be aware that user A has added user B as a friend. and i think more importantly it would be good if user B has option to accept, reject, and/or block.

Agree.... let me add (1) split the virtual kiss section to different functions wink, friend request etc. I really think Friend Request is very confusing.... member A add member B as a friend and member B dont even know...

I agree as well...
The friends link should be more like a friend request as in myspace or facebook.
The member should be notified when someone adds them as a "friend" and they should have the option to accept or deny via the message.
Right now, it appears that Bookmark and Friends are similar if not the same.
Thanks guys, for suggesting this.

Nowadays with free emails and YahooMail, GMail and Hotmail, Statistically members can have between 100-150 friends in their friends contact list. Currently Skadate want each member to invite one friend at a time to website, this is Tedius and very Frustrating. Members should be able to Invite all or some of their friends at ONCE from their YahooMail, GMail and Hotmail. Also there should be a separate web page for Invite Friends so members can add text to invitation message and even view the message that will be sent to their friends

I agree that viral growth/marketing is very important and a great way to expand site membership - however an important tool that would need to be implemented before any such mass invite module is made available would be some kind of "spam index score" on the message being sent out. Otherwise as site owners we could be letting our own members shoot us in the foot.

I see this has been around since it's first post in FEB. - YES, like RuKuS & Anthony suggested above this should work like like "myspace.com" where you REQUEST before they can be added.
- - what will happen to all the CURRENT "friends" our members have added? Will they remain? Maybe a utility to gray then out until a friend request is sent to make them clickable?

Simple friend requests will be implemented in the upcoming update. Contacts import is a complex feature, we will work on it for SkaDate 7.
