I notice that Skadate will add the long awaited Friends Invite/Contacts Import to Skadate 7 Release.... well done! With this in mind, i have a suggestion:

> New Members should have the option to Invite Friends during Registration Process, very popular among other dating/social networking sites.

> Friends Invite/Contacts Import should be on a Separate Page, this will highlight the importance of this Function.

Any Admins have a take on this suggestion.... seems like Skadate will do with some creative ways for current/new members to invite their friends.... like inviting friends during registration to become a member to site

Not sure this is a good idea, because there are some serious troubles with the friend invitation feature during the registration process, because in this way NONE registered profile will be able to send invitations.
My suggestion is to give to a profile the ability to invite friends after the registration process. A member will be redirected to the Invite a friend page as soon as he registers. It can be done configurable via admin panel. So, admin can decide where to the profile must be redirected after the registration (invite frined, upload photos etc).
What do you think?

Good Idea Adden, i agree with your suggestion( after registration member is redirected to invite friends page)  ALSO on the Invite Friends Page member should be able to click "Continue" or "Site Logo" to go to Member Home Page after inviting friends to site

It's a great idea to make the invite friends option apart of the last step on the join form. So once they register it'll go to invite page, with an option that says "skip this step" and then go directly to the home page. **How about making an option in the admin page for that last step on the invite link to go to any page that we select** Thats good because sometimes you want to run site promotions and send them to that page first.  Wink

Addition. Along with inviting the friends, you should make it so that members can check to see if their friends are already registered on the site. So when it pulls the e-mails from their e-mail account it will compare that to the member database, and if their friends are already on the site give them the option to add those friends to their friends list. (Just like Myspace does) Great Addon  Grin Smiley  . It's also important that members have the option to select the friends that they don't want to send the invite to from their e-mail contact list.

I like that Addition

ALSO, every time a current member login/sign onto site they should be Redirected to Invite Friends page.... Invite Friends tool is very valuable and we should make good use of it. So current members should be Redirected to Invite Friends page after login

Hello Adden,

Seem like there is a general agreement from Admins for Invite Friends Redirect during registration and when current members Login/sign-in. Will this and what designz suggests be added to Skadate 7?

Awaiting your response on this?
