Emil,
Is there a way for you to MOVE or CREATE an area so that we can see these "Feature suggestions" that you say are a "good idea" or are going to be "included in a future relase" and track their progress?

We are spending our time helping to enhance your product and in turn helping to enhance OUR member's experience on our sites, then a good "Tracking" of these "suggestions" on this board should  have some way of watching it move to "Development" and then to "Production".  Maybe even "estimated dates of release?"

CHILD BOARD: The "SUBJECT" could be moved or FLAGGED as "Slotted for Development"?

The bottom list is to get us more than just a response on the SUBJECT... but to actually MOVE or FLAG it as such.

Agree with this.... It will also allow ADMIN to send Mass Emails(Announcements) to all Members notifying them of the expected Features to be added to site.

The original idea of the feature suggestion section was exactly like this. Let me create a sub-board here. I'll move there what is confirmed for the next update. When the update is out we can remove it. If something was not developed in spite of plan it can be moved further.

I ask everyone to pay more attention to suggestion rules, particularly the point of creating separate topics for every suggestion and making topic subject obvious like "Who viewed my profile" instead of "My list of suggestions". You will make everyone's life easier.

If you guys are ok with that I'm doing so.

YEEHAW!  Outstanding!  Thanks Emil!  Looking forward to seeing this in action.

Huh  Not sure if you are saying I DID or DIDN'T do this?  If I didn't do this can you give me an example of what the subject should have been?  I'll happily change it.  Or was your comment directed Easton?

I think its a General Statement! I think he's saying to compose our Subjects under a list of suggestions instead of making a Topic for every subject. This will avoid ADMINs to browse through numerous simple Topics/suggestions rather a General Topic with List of different suggestions is better.

I don't see an issue here, everything is good with your Title! I have made a mistake by creating a Title for a simple suggestion as "Who view profile", i should have it under a more General Title with other suggestions

I see you've created the "Child boards" for this suggestion... how will this work now that you've created the areas for the "Changes for the upcoming update" and "Changes for Skadate 7" child board area?

Also, do you have release dates for:

"Changes for the upcoming update"

and

"Changes for Skadate 7"

If so can the FAQ or First subject in each of those child boards show the release dates (or the "anticipated" release dates?"

Firstly, i am thinking that Emil will focus on the April Update since this will release first. Then Skadate 7 later.... Now Emil could:

-Review all  suggestions/features from ADMIN's(confirmed and unconfirmed)
(a) Add all confirm suggestions that Emil already said he would add to Skadate
(b) Review unconfirm suggestions with a view to Add most if not All to Skadate

-Tell ADMIN's exactly what List of Features( confirmed and unconfirmed) would be in the April Update, of course ADMIN's can double check to ensure that confirm suggestions/features are Added to Skadate.

- Overall objective to Add All suggestions/features to Skadate 7 Release which i understand could release in the Summer.....

Expectation
I expect Skadate April Update would be packed with New Features  Roll Eyes

Sine THIS "suggestion" has been "ACCEPTED and IMPLEMENTED" maybe you can add a 3rd child board and CLOSE the topics that have been "ACCEPTED and IMPLEMENTED"?

From skafla's perspective I think this would be an excellent way to demonstrate (while not ALL at least some) of your customers "Feedback - Input - Suggestions" are not only heard but actually acted on and implemented.  A selling mechanism for the skalfa portfolio.

Just a suggestion...

Harley

Of course some thing like "Accepted and implement features" topic will be created after update release. All topics from "Features for the upcoming update" will be moved to this third child board and will be free for insert features for next update.
Just give us a time to finish update work Smiley

Adden -  Makes sense... my point was this suggestion subject:
Suggested Features slotted for INCLUSION?
has already been implemented since it's related to the discussion board more than a software release.

What are your thoughts?  This subject is really "completed" since it's now been "ACCEPTED and IMPLEMENTED"
