In the admin section, there should be a column in the list of profiles that indicates if that user has unread emails. It's nice that when a user gets an email from another member, the system generates an email to the recipient alerting them of a message. If that system generated email gets mistakenly deleted by the recipient, or it happens to go into their spam folder, the recipient may not realize that they have email waiting. I propose that the admin be able to highlight those user profiles, and to have a button at the bottom of the page (similiar to the send verification button) so that admin can generate a system email telling those users to logon and check their mailbox.

What do you guys think?

Good suggestion David, i agree with this 100%.... giving admin this option is good, it can also used as a Teaser to get members with Unread Messages to site.

I agree this could be quite useful info for admins.

Not sure how good will it work. This option will allow to admin to sent new mail notification. But the system already sent it to profile. And when admin will send it again, then member can decided that this is a spam or that something wrong, because he will have some notifications about one event.
