I agree this would be HELPFUL! Is it really hard for Skadate to pin down an actual day or is the month all you feel comfortable sharing?

It's really hard to fix the date of release. There are so many suggestions and improves and we do our best to finish the work in time. So the approximate date of release is the end of May.

I hope by "approximate" you mean "at the very latest". "Approximate end of May" to me could mean early June

I now have hundreds of members with missing section( photos, details, etc.) on their view profile page, and its now becoming Tedius for me to login to these members profile and fix these sections. I know that the Upcoming Update will have members unchange these sections but whats up with these current members with missing sections, will the installation of Upcoming Update restore these current members profile sections?

I totally agree with Easton! I'm not sure if this has been thought of... but maybe Skadate could create a CRON job that will scour profiles and "FIX" them if they are missing certain sections which we can say are REQUIRED? On our site we are CONSTANTLY (20 times a day sometimes) Logging on as the member and clicking the "Set Default" (which we now call "FIX PROFILE") Button....
Poor design the members should have to press "SAVE" or "UPDATE" for the template to change!

See your point guys.
After your site will be updated, empty profiles will have fixed components (profile details, photos, comments) on their page.

How so, i hear Admins suggesting a Test version, so with Admin registration and Version viewing and fixing if any, this New Release for installation maybe ready in late June, right?

First we planed to test the updated version ourselves and release it by the end of May. But as far as admins want to test it themselves first we decided to make a Beta release in the end of May and after some testing release it officially.

Will we get a cut of the beta with our own data ? always easier to test with a familiar dataset - plus a good way to highlight customer specific mod's that might have been overlooked .... I think this testing period is the only way forward .. as your software develops it must conform to good Q/A and customer acceptance testing standard (which in the past it has lacked - the chuppo family more so) - even at the expense of any ideal release schedule ... long term it will save us all time, money and heartache ... Cheers Paul

I think the next time around we should have a built in time for Beta Testing. For Example, if Skadate says they will Release at the end of May, then May 15 can be set for Beta Testing, Admin registrating, viewing and fixing, so we can keep Confirmed Release Date. Keeping on track with release date is very important because it affects how much time for other feature suggestions, software development and so on. With a intense and competitive social and dating netowrk industry, keeping on top with New Features is Critical.
Confirmed Release Date should mean that the software is already being Tested by Admins and fixing if any is already done!

Next time we’ll inform you beforehand. This is the first release that is based on admin posts and feature suggestions. When we planed to release it by the end of May we did not take into consideration a Beta Testing. Anyway we think that testing will not take much time. Probably only 2-3 days. After this we’ll make a Public release.
