Last year we did it free upon request, so old-time Skadaters can recognize this nice addon. This year we have so much more hosted customers that is why we must charge small fee. We’ll remove the effect when you tell us.

This snowstorm effect seems to have a very adverse effect on IE7 in that it slows down the browsers and any tabs open ?!?

We tested it in IE7 and didn’t experience any remarkable performance problems. It’s a simple javascript effect that shouldn’t consume much resources. Check if the problem persists.
