SkaDate: minor EULA changes

May 29, 2008 – 7:09 am, by Emil @ Skalfa

We made a few additions to SkaDate EULA’s for both Software and Managed solution. Summary:

Software solution EULA:
3.4 Customer’s rights to modify software source code.

Managed and Software solution EULA:
8. How we use information about you.

These additions reflect common sense and are usually figured out on skadate.com website materials and via communication with customers. Thanks to one of our prospects, they are now in the EULA as well, effective from this moment.

The new copies of EULA can be found at their regular place:

  2. The software is great. But the scripts have problems. I’ve looked at the profile pages on all the templates on both a Mac and a PC. The first issue is that the code does not appear cross-browser/platform compatible. The demos look broken on the Mac, with borders and boxes either not appearing or not lining up. One of the issues with the PC is that some of the components you see on the Mac are missing on the PC, including the “About Me” and “About My Matches” tabs in the middle column. These are not very old computers, and some of our users will be using older computers, as not everyone in the world can afford the latest systems. We want to be able to service EVERYONE, and not leave anyone out.

  3. Thanks Semele for your input.

Currently we are working on templates redesign which will be available in the upcoming major release.

The new template system will be simpler and much more robust. This will also make templates more universal and easier to create, maintain, and upgrade. As if this is not enough, administrators will be able to make great customizations right from admin panel.
