Video not available for adult social networks
December 8, 2008 – 8:09 am, by Emil @ SkalfaI’m sorry to inform you that adult social networks on WackWall will temporarily stop supporting video sharing. Currently we only have YouTube option for video hosting. It automatically requires any video that you upload to comply with their terms of use.
Although not all videos that are being uploaded on adult networks violate these terms but generally the understandable non-compliance is currently taking place that is why we had to turn it off completely for the time being until we introduce self-hosted (or at least embeddable 3rd party) video option.

Thanks, and I understand. Please let me know as soon as this becomes available. Also, Even though I signed up as an adult network, I still do not see an 18+ Splashscreen when I enter my site. Could someone get back to me on this?
I actually have a ton of questions as to the navigation. I thank you for your helpfullness

Understand completely however I’m wondering if you could keep us posted as to the status of this. Is there a fix on the horizon?
One other question; the chat feature is nice (especially the vid component) however it doesn’t allow us to create our own rooms. Further, it doesn’t allow us to enter the existing rooms. Is a fix contemplated?

Wondering if there is a way to have monitors or administrators for the overall site as opposed to just the forum and is there a way to grant or refuse access to the site and deleting members from our sites??

Sure not. We will convert all social networks on WackWall to the new engine with prior notification. It’s just that one day you wake up and see that your site became much more powerful and attractive.

please fix the network. we can’t control the pics and the people comming to the site. give us control over who can join please,,and the pics..we have to go and look at each pic and delete the shit we don’t want.we do not want to loose our sites over stuff we can’t control…its not fair to us. please help

try making this net work more like ning….sorry but they do have and good platform.the features they have are great and gives you great control over everything that comes to the site.don’t get me wrong this network is good. lets make it the best…thank you for your time

Thank you for you sincere opinion. We are definitely working on improving the management tools on WackWall, and creating those that do not exist at all. The problem is that we can’t assist you right now, all changes will come after WackWall 2.0 relaunch.

I’ve waited patiently to hear that video would be forthcoming. No updates, and still no video. Is anybody addressing this? Further, the chat function is still extremely limited and seldom allows us to have our own room. Surely there must be something you could incorporate “off the shelf” to address these things?

Looks like we are not able to offer anything about video for adult social networks until the relaunch of the new system – we will offer native video hosting then (no 3rd party logos on your clips!).
Currently we are furiously working on the new platform and have a little update coming shotrly – member management tools for the current system.

Wow! And I mean that not in a good way. For over six months I’ve been asking regarding video and not only do you not keep members informed, still nothing. I’m begining to wonder if this is worth directing members to.

Sorry for keeping you uninformed – it’s just that we cannot do anything about video right now. Shortly after the relaunch WackWall will have native or third party video support. I wish I had more good news for you but the situation didn’t change over these 6 months – we are still working on the new platform.
